HOW THREE DIRECTIONS WORKS

Get the thinking right.
Then make it look good.

A website has to do more than look different. It should give the right people a reason to choose your business and make the next step clear. We research, write, design and review before asking you to choose a direction.

Start with three concepts ↗
  1. 01

Start with your business and your customers.

Tell us what you offer, who you want to reach and what you want visitors to do. Share your current site, examples you like and anything you want to keep. The short form covers the essentials. Extra detail and existing photos or copy are welcome, but you do not need a finished brief.

  2. 02

Find a reason to choose you.

We review your site, your competitors and the alternatives your customers consider. What do you do well? What matters to the buyer? What can you back up with work, reviews, experience or results? We separate what we know from what still needs checking. We do not make up testimonials or claims.

  3. 03

Decide what each direction should accomplish.

One direction might help a ready customer act quickly. Another might build confidence with evidence before asking for a commitment. A third might help someone choose the right service. Those are useful starting points, not a template we force on every business. If one strategy clearly fits, we can explore three different ways to express it.

  4. 04

Give each design a point of view.

We develop the words, images, type, color and layout together. Each concept should feel right for that business and stand apart from the other two. Swapping colors on the same page is not three directions. We work from the strongest available material and flag anything that needs a better photograph, a clearer explanation or permission to use.

  5. 05

Critique the work before you see it.

Sam and his team review the message, the visual quality and the visitor's path. We check the mobile layout, readable text, keyboard access, forms and links. We ask whether the three concepts are worth comparing. Weak or generic work goes back for revision. We will not fill a portfolio by rushing out pages that fail that review.

  6. 06

Show you the work and explain the choices.

You receive three annotated homepage previews. Each includes three or four short explanations tied to something you can see: the issue we noticed, the change we made, what we think it could help and how to judge it. Review them on your own or take an optional 15-minute walkthrough. You do not need a meeting to get the designs.

  7. 07

    Choose what happens next.

Pick a direction, ask questions or decide not to proceed. You can request the concept files and take them to another programmer. There is no obligation to hire us. We include source files where available and explain any restrictions on third-party images, fonts or other materials. A concept is a starting point for a build, not a finished production website.

  8. 08

Agree on the build, or buy just the help you need.

If you want us to build it, we agree on pages, content, features, review rounds, price, hosting and handover first. You can also buy a specific service such as a homepage rewrite, a site review or a small workflow improvement. Send changes in ordinary language by email. Sam reviews the work before it is delivered or published.

  9. 09

Check whether it helps the business.

We agree on what counts as a useful result, such as qualified inquiries, bookings or suitable projects. Clicks can help explain behavior, but they are not the goal by themselves. We do not promise conversion percentages or treat a quiet month before and a busy month after as proof that a redesign caused the change.

SCOPE, PRICE AND TIMING

Know what you are getting.

What is in the concept package?

Three annotated homepage concepts, Sam's review and an optional 15-minute walkthrough. The newly offered package costs $500. A $500 local pilot credit makes the eligible pilot package $0. The paid and pilot deliverables are the same. Build and hosting are separate.

When will I hear back?

Sam and his team usually review a new brief within 24 hours. We confirm missing information, availability and a delivery date. The three-business-day concept period begins once the brief is usable and a production slot is accepted. Pilot capacity is up to two accepted briefs per week.

Do I have to hire you to use the concepts?

No. Ask for the files and take them to another programmer if you prefer. Third-party materials keep their own license terms. We identify anything that cannot be redistributed or needs a replacement.

Can I buy one service without a website project?

Yes. The services page lists individual projects. We agree on the deliverable and a fixed-scope quote before starting. We do not bundle in ongoing services you did not request.

What does AI do, and what do people do?

We use AI to help with research, drafting and design production. People choose the direction, check the facts, critique the work and approve what you receive. Using a tool does not excuse generic design or unsupported claims.
